Our ultimate goal is to see every person in the Romanian Roma community living and working in Nottingham, Prosper and integrate into the local populations already established in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
Why is this super important?
Put yourself into the shoes of someone coming to live and work in the UK. Just imagine the 'workload' From finding a GP to getting school places, or dealing with bad landlords. There is 1000 and 1 things that need sorting and that could go wrong
What happens if a new and emerging community does not get any support?
Quite simple put, it costs everybody in Nottingham and needlessly harms a whole lot of people.
But how does this have a negative affect?
It harms the children the most, by not having a stable robust start in life children and young people get hurt the most. If mum or dad does not know or understand the system, things can go wrong fast.
From registering a new car, getting UK driving licenses, knowing how to pay your council tax, dealing with a family death, opening a bank account, knowing how to deal with bailiffs and debt.
Sometimes you just need a map, a helping hand, support to get on the local path.
